Being a Gay Christian
Here are my struggles to reconcile my religion & sexual orientation. I used to think that being a Christian and being gay were mutually exclusive. God revealed to me that I am his child, created Just As I Am. God’s awesome gift comes with challenges, yet opportunities to share the good news to many who have rejected religion. Or who have suppressed their sexuality to keep their religion. I welcome this ministry and the unbelievable strength he gives me to do it.

God didn't creat gays just like he didn't create fornicators, liars, thieves, child abusers or any other sinner. God doesn't judge the person, He judges the sin in that person. Too many "christians" judge the person instead of judging the sin. I have gay friends that are christian and I don't care that they're gay because I love the person, not the sin. I pray for them and that they do what God calls them to do in their lives. God doesn't create sin, stupid people blaming God create sin.

Nearly every person who acknowledges an aversion to homosexuality does so on the basis of what he or she believes the Bible has to say. In their mind, there is no doubt whatsoever about what the Bible says and what the Bible means. Their general argument goes something like this: Homosexuality is an abomination and the homosexual is a sinner. Homosexuality is condemned in both the Old and New Testaments. Therefore, if we are to be faithful to the clear teachings of Scripture we too must condemn homosexuality. Needless to say, this premise is being widely debated among evangelicals today and seriously challenged by biblical scholars, theologians and religious leaders everywhere.
It rarely occurs to any of us that our reading of Scripture is profoundly colored by our own cultural context and worldview. God gives us road blocks in our life and gives us the chance to clear them. God loves to see us triumph over the difficulties he puts in our lives and that is how he sees us. Gay is not bad it is just one of those road blocks he put up and wants us to over come and live our lives normal event thou he put people on earth that dislike us. He is testing us that is what I believe it is and he want to see if we are worthy of living in his kingdom.

If you have the Holy Spirit, He will convict you, immediately, of your sin and bug you until you repent; that small still voice. You dear heart, wouldn't need to have a blog, and to defend yourself, if you were right with God. You know you are living a life that is not pleasing to God. If you love Him, the name of the game is SACRIFICE! Which do you Love more? Being Gay or Loving God? Are you willing to put Jesus first, before your need to be Gay/have a partner? Jesus said either you are for me or against me; those who are 'lukewarm' will be spit out of His mouth? Which will you choose? God Bless!
